Transparant Consumption
With the current growth rate of the world population we need to reinvent the design of our production industry. The consumer holds the key to the solution. Our choices will force the industry to change or not to change.
The problem is that we have such a limit insight in the cumulative effects of our day to day consumption. When we have the tools to see the broad, long term, effects, we will be better equipt to make the right choices. And thus create a better world.
I believe we are creating the infrastructure for this redesign. RFID, GPS, NFC, can all help to monitor what the effects of production and consumption are. We have to bring them together, and, important, create the economic will to share this data.
Creating life.
We are dataizing every aspect of our life. The pictures we take, the friends we make, the places we go to, the stuff we eat.
These digital copies of ourselves can be rerun. We have become immortal.
